These people with extended rights represent a major form of civic duty in the Wikimedia projects, and serve as an indicator of increased online community engagement. </li> <li>The <a href=" https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Community_Insights/Community_Insights_2023_Report#Gender" target="[object Object]">2023 Community Insights Survey </a>found that roles within the Wikimedia movement are gendered; compared to editors (13% women), admins were less likely to identify as women (7%) while organizers were more likely to do so (30%). </li> <li>Regarding off-wiki gender gaps (i.e. within the Movement, but not directly on the Projects), the disparities are not only in organizing activities or programs, but also in participation and leadership in governance bodies (BoT, committees, etc.) and more. </li> </ul> </div> </article> <p></p>"
