Micro contribution campaigns try to give editors a smaller action that allows them to contribute many edits. Micro contribution campaigns, like #1lib1ref or Wikipedia Pages Wanting Photos, allow editors to build a habit of editing, while doing something limited but impactful.

These campaigns work for a limited number of workflows, and tend to be dependent on the support of community built tools, such as the Citation Hunt Tool for #1lib1ref -- which helps users find “citation needed” statements.
