<li>Cities and their environmental issues are something that most editors are familiar with. </li>
<li>Articles about cities that are less popular or don’t have an international profile on Wikipedias (i.e. tourist cities like Paris) are often neglected by experienced editors, leaving plenty of accessible knowledge gaps for inexperienced editors.</li>
<li>Researching environmental issues by city is easy for newcomers, because they can search in Google or a research database and easily find the results.</li>
<li>The participant only needs to learn 2 elements of Wikipedia’s editorial practices: how to add references, and how to identify the right section for adding environmental issues. </li>
<li>Instructions are simple and repeatable for most cities in both the Global North and Global South with connections to universities or government programs, because graduate students and government funded research happen first in cities. </li>
