The purpose is to further develop skills, share knowledge and promote human connections and mutual support, in alignment with the Movement Strategy.
<p>The let’s connect program is intended to build social connections and cooperation, diverse formats for a continuous, autonomous process, driven by needs and interests as they arise, and complement, not replace, other forms of more formal training (such as this Lab) and other capacity-building initiatives. It is a horizontal, non-formal and flexible way of sharing knowledge amongst colleagues.</p>
<p>For the next section of this introductory unit, we will also ask you to enroll in Let’s Connect to both a) inventory the skills you have and want to learn as Wikimedia Organizers, and b) help you connect with a network that can provide additional support for the skills that we aren’t planning to cover in the course.</p>
