<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maria_Lugones" target="[object Object]">María Lugones</a>, a leading Argentinian decolonial theorist, and member of Anibal Quijano’s decoloniality group, adjusts his formulation of the coloniality of power through a deeper consideration of gender and its entwined relationship with race:

“Coloniality" does not just refer to "racial" classification.
